The Center for Axion and Precision Physics Research (CAPP) was founded by the Institute for Basic Science (IBS) in Korea. CAPP collaborates with many international research centers, and provides unique opportunities to conduct research activities in the areas of Axion, Electric Dipole Moment (EDM), Muon g-2 and COMET experiments.
CAPP/IBS offers the opportunity of participating in a research oriented summer program, Korea Undergraduate /Graduate/High School Science Program (KUSP), to a limited number of physics students (or related natural science disciplines) from around the world. The selected students will join the day-to-day work of the CAPP research teams at their laboratory based at KAIST in Daejeon, South Korea.
CAPP/IBS scientists know that science is not a series of facts, but an ever-changing way of understanding our Universe. Moreover, students will find working in a multicultural environment to be an extremely enriching personal experience.
